Guy Wollaert, Business Angel, Managing Partner of Idea-Value-Impact advisory services and former CTO of The Coca-Cola Company joins Keiryo Packaging Technologies SA as member of the Industry Advisory Board.
Guy will support and advise Keiryo Packaging Technologies in rolling out its disruptive packaging processing technology. In addition, Guy will be instrumental in building additional technology & commercial partnerships with the different constituents of the plastic packaging supply chain.
Stéfan Descheemaecker, founding member of the Keiryo Packaging Technologies Industry Advisory Board said: ‘We are very happy to welcome Guy as member of our IAB. Keiryo develops a ground-breaking, academically well-substantiated packaging processing technology improving the sustainability of polymer based packaging. In doing so our technology will contribute to address the pressing issue of plastic pollution by reducing the use of raw material, increasing recycled content and facilitating recycling performance. Based on his extensive experience Guy will provide useful advice on the roll out of our technology, the management of our current and future industrial and commercial partnerships.
Guy Wollaert stated ‘I am pleased to be part of Keiryo’s IAB and to support the company in this exiting journey. I consider the innovative technology extremely relevant from a sustainability perspective. It can become a game changer for the whole polymer processing industry with a positive impact on planet and profit.’
Johan Robbrecht, Managing Partner of Keiryo Packaging Technologies acknowledged: Having successfully served in various functional leadership positions world-wide during his 23-year tenure at The Coca-Cola Company, Guy intrinsically knows what it takes to drive breakthrough innovations across the complex maze of global organizations. We are convinced that Guy’s contribution will be instrumental in nurturing existing and future partnerships as well as the roll out of our technology.
Keiryo Packaging Technologies is developing a patented polymer processing technology which introduces well-designed mechanical energy into the polymer melt during its processing. The molecular organization of the polymer melt is altered with the creation of flow-enhanced morphological structures which have a beneficial impact on the end performances of the polymer article being produced. This enables light weighting, better barrier performance and improved mixing of virgin and recycled material. As a result, the Keiryo Packaging Technology improves the environmental sustainability of polymer based packaging.
Keiryo Packaging Technologies is incorporated in Luxemburg and headquartered at 488 route de Longwy, Luxemburg.
Edyta Niemczyk joins Keiryo Packaging Technologies as Engineering Team Lead. She will coordinate the overall engineering workflow thereby ensuring proper implementation of our different development tracks.
The Keiryo Packaging technology modifies the morphological structure and performance of polymers during the injection process.
Phillipe Blonda will be in charge of business development and new technology partnerships for Keiryo.
